Dr. Anna Stuckler

Dr. Anna Stuckler is the Managing Director of Alter Stuckler and Associates. She holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from York University and has practiced in the York Region for over 30 years. Dr. Stuckler has a wealth of experience working with children, adolescents and adults, having worked for a number of years with the York Region Catholic School Board, Mackenzie Health and CAMH prior to establishing Alter Stuckler and Associates.
This clinic believes in a collaborative approach and thus has a number of highly trained professionals that work together conducting psychological and psychoeducational assessments as well as individual, couple and family therapy. Dr. Stuckler has expertise in diagnosing learning disabilities, ADHD and emotional problems. She has worked over the years with various private and public schools, the University of Toronto and Seneca College. She also is acting as a consultant for the York Region Police Department and Durham Police in their recruitment of potential candidates.
Her therapy work includes individual and martial therapy, using evidence-based treatments for anxiety, depression, anger management and relationship difficulties. She also has experience working in the area of eating disorders and ADHD.
Being a licensed practitioner, Dr. Stuckler is registered with the College of Psychologists in Ontario and is currently a member of the Ontario Psychological Association and Canadian Register of Health Service Providers. She has held executive office with the Ontario Psychological Association and co-founded the ADD Institute.
