Sue Power, CPsych, is a registered clinical and school psychologist. She is a member of the Canadian Psychological Association and the Ontario Psychological Association. She has had experience working with children and adolescents for more than 25 years. She is able to provide individual and family therapy services. Dr. Power has been trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) for children and adults. She has provided psychological assessments for children and adolescents who have learning, attention or emotional problems since 2001. She is particularly experienced in assessing bright children who may also be struggling with learning or emotional problems. In addition, she conducts psychological assessments for students who are planning to go to university or college. Dr. Power has had extensive experience working with private schools and public school boards in the York Region and Toronto. At present, she works part time for the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) as a school psychologist. She has provided consultation services to parents, teachers, principals and social workers for several years.
